INTRODUCTION ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

Biostatistics as a discipline of research technology is useful in designing the study, collection and management of data, analysis and interpretation. In this information era, a large volume of data is generated through various research activities. Most of the researchers often face difficulty in handling data, in addition to the use of suitable statistical techniques to obtain the relevant information. ChanRe Rheumatology & Immunology Center & Research is organizing four days virtual online training programme on Research Methodology, Data Management and Biostatistics for the benefit of research workers in the field of Medicine, Veterinary and other Biological Sciences.

This training programme is designed to give the participants an overview of research methodology by expert lectures and discussions. In addition, a major portion of the programme involves explanations and hands on exercises in biostatistics using web-based statistical tools. These will be done through the live internet connected projection and inducing the participants to use the software for calculations and analysis, etc. over the Net with Wi-Fi / Data connection.
